I've been thinking about the shooting in Washington, D. C. this week. Racism, anti-Semitism, Homophobia, and all other forms of hate are all part of the same bitter soup. To tolerate one is to tolerate all.

True. But Rush Limbaugh and the AM radio ilk were at it before Fox News, and before them there were Robert McCormick and his Chicago Tribune (of Dewey Defeats Truman fame) and Father Coughlin in the 1930s.
But Fox is today's version - although I hear Murdock, McCormick's successor, has had to cut their budget.
